Happy Holidays! Now it is easier than ever to donate to Words on the Verge!  Check out the PayPal "Donate" button on the right of the screen, Looking for a last minute gift?  Donate to our reading series  in the name of a friend or family member.  Words on the Verge will send a card to your recipient telling them about your generous gift.  Just hit the "donate" button then email us at chrissygreenny (at) gmail (dot) com with the name and address of the recipient. Thanks to Nina Alvarez who read for Words on the Verge in November. Her words were lovely and magical, and we were so privileged that she came to Brockport for our November event. Words on the Verge has a new logo created by Lujar of  Lujar Art ! Words on the Verge would like to thank  Julian Foster  for his powerful and dynamic reading on October 25th .  See below for some great photos of the event by Courtney Webster of  Images by Courtney . Her play "The Life of Leo Wool" was produced by the Greater Rochester Repertory Company    in 2013. She has been awarded a residency at Vermont Studio Center, been featured reader at the Naples Land Trust Festiva

Nina Alvarez

On November 22 Brockport’s Words on the Verge Literary Reading Series will host local writer Nina Alvarez. Alvarez will read from 5pm until 7pm. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public. This event and all Words on the Verge events take place at A Different Path Art Gallery in Brockport (27 Market St, Brockport, NY 14420, 637-5494). Nina Alvarez's short fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and cross-genre work have been published in Prick of the Spindle (forthcoming), Danse Macabre, Electric Velocipede, Grasslimb, 21 Stars Review, and other online and print journals. Her play "The Life of Leo Wool" was produced by the Greater Rochester Repertory Company in 2013.
