Words on the Verge~A Westside Literary Salon~ Words on the Verge's home since 2012 has been A Different Path Gallery. On April 15th the gallery building will change hands. For almost ten years Katherine Weston has nurtured the arts - music, literature, the visual arts, and more - in our community. Words on the Verge offers our sincerest love and thanks to our wonderful sponsor and patron. We wish you all the best, Kathy, with your future endeavors!

We offer special thanks to Karen Faris for hosting & creating a magnificent pop-up art show! Christine GreenJennifer Maloney Join us on March 2nd as Words on the Verge presents poet Jennifer Maloney.

Jennifer Maloney is the current president of Just Poets, Inc, a literary organization celebrating 15 years of bringing poetry into the public sphere here in Rochester. Her poetry has been published in aaduna.org, The Pangolin Review, and Memoryhouse Magazine (forthcoming). Her work has been anthologized numerous times, notably including OutWrite, Volume 7, part of the ImageOut Film Festival. Jennifer reads widely around the greater Rochester area.

Words on the Verge~A Westside Literary Salon~  Christine GreenChristine Green Join us on January 26th as Words on the Verge host, Christine Green, takes the stage as the featured reader. She will hand hosting duties to local author and artist Karen Faris. Christine' s reader fee will be donated to charity. 

Christine Green is a freelance writer, teaching artist, and speaker in Brockport, NY. She currently writes a literary arts column for Rochester's (585) Magazine. She is also a regular contributor to 55 Plus Magazine and In Good Health.  She grew up in San Jose, CA and holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from UC Berkeley and a master’s degree in historical archaeology from the College of William and Mary.  Her essays, articles, poetry, and creative non-fiction appear in several literary journals and blogs.
