Patti Lavell Formerly of Islamorada, FL, Patti Lavell now lives in the Finger Lakes Region of the Empire State. She is the author of the memoir Confessions of Catholic School Dropout (2012), the novel Fat Chance (2013), and has been a contributing writer for Florida Keys Free Press and Lavell was the coordinator of a police academy in the Florida Keys, and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of a trucking company in New York. ~A Westside Literary Salon~  Annette Daniels Taylor Annette Daniels Taylor Annette Daniels Taylor is an artist, and author of the poetry chapbooks, Street Pharmacist and other poetic tales, and Hush now poems to read aloud. Her debut YA novel, Dreams on Fire (October 2018) with West 44 books is a poetic urban teenage journey written in verse. An award winning playwright, her drama A Little Bit of Paradise, available at, won the 2008 Artie Award for Outstanding New Play. Annette is a poet, artist, and storyteller interested in American public history. Her  practice includes performance, poetry, video, sound, and vocals.

A 2018-19 New York State Public Humanities fellow, a 2016-18 Arthur A.
