Jenny Lloyd was born in England, and has lived there, in Italy, and in Mexico before moving to the United States in 1980. She is a retired history professor from The College at Brockport, and the author of four scholarly articles and one academic book.
She began writing memoir and creative non-fiction in the 1990s, and has just completed her memoir In My Mind’s Eye, about her experiences as a small child in World War II, her childhood and adolescence on a remote farm in the West of England, and her time at two boarding schools (Createspace, 2015). Support Words on the Verge
Our fun and exciting events have been extremely successful, and we are so grateful for the amazing support we have received from the community thus far.
As we were budgeting and planning for the upcoming fall readings, we realized that we needed to reach out once more to our friends in the community. Your support can help Words on the Verge continue with our wonderful and free program.
A recommended donation of $25 or more will help pay for advertising, flyers, programs, food, and drink. You may also choose to donate goods or services. You or your business can donate paper for programs, printer ink, flyers, coffee, wine, snacks, and sundries (napkins, utensils, etc.). You can donate by cash, check, or Paypal.
Thank you so much for your continued support of the arts in Brockport. Please visit our Facebook page or Blog for more information about the reading program.
