Happy New Year! We are proud to announce that Words on the Verge is featuring Bart White and Kitty Jospe on January 30th from 5-7pm.
Jospé holds an MA in French Lit from NYU and an MFA
Poetry. She has always had a passion for language and the arts. She
has been a docent at the Memorial Art Gallery, Rochester, NY since 1998, and
leads a weekly poetry appreciation class since 2008 and has combined Art and Word in
various lectures.
An active poet, her publications include three books and numerous poems
in poetry journals.
Bart White serves as grant writer and president of
Just Poets of Greater Rochester. He is co-editor of an anthology of
environmental poems, Vigil for the
Marcellus Shale, 12 Poets Opposing Hydraulic Fracturing. A native of North Carolina, Bart White grew
up among storytellers and considers narrative poetry to be one of his strengths.
His collection, The Faces We Had As
Children, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2014.
