January Poetry

Words on the Verge would like to thank Bart White and Kitty Jospe for reading at our January event. The evening was a magical mix of poetry, discussion, and community connection.

February Storytelling Event

We all love to be told a story be it a tender poem, a gripping fictional tale, or a fable from days gone by. Join Words on the Verge on February 27th as we host Master Storyteller, Annette Ramos....

"Annette Ramos is a well-versed and committed arts leader working closely in the educational setting of the Rochester City School District, with area colleges and many youth service organizations. Annette is presently Associate Director of Education and Community Engagement of the Rochester Broadway Theater League, Executive Director of the Rochester Latino Theatre Company (RLTC), Latino Arts and Cultural Consultant for Ibero American Action League, and former Manager of Community Engagement for Young Audiences of Rochester.

Ms. Ramos favors the art of theater working from and for Latino Voices that are marginalized and not heard. In addition, she has worked in theater as an actress, playwright, producer, and director. She has also worked on dozens of film projects and is a lecturer on Theater Arts, Early Childhood arts and is a dynamic Master Storyteller."

*As always, this event is FREE and open to the public. We welcome everyone--children, students, writers, readers, young, and old. *
